The THURMELEC SAS company is registered in the COLMAR (F) Trade Register with number 453 730 749. The equity is a joint estate of four leading managers and an external share holder. Thurmelec has its origins in the former electronics department of the company CLEMESSY which was formed in 1968 and sold to the GRME group in May 1998.

Thurmelec was founded in 2004 to take over this activity.

The name THURMELEC is reminiscent of:

•	the site (closeness to the river THUR, which has its source in the Vosges mountains)
•	the company’s main focus on Medicine and ELECtronics

Location
